Wounded Warriors return home and reintegrate into the community. Despite the joy of homecoming and
their resolute spirit, many of these Warriors, especially those suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury, face emotional and physical
challenges presented by life altering disabilities. Family life, personal relationships, jobs, hobbies and mental and physical health
are all affected as they face long term rehabilitation.
We believe our Wounded Warriors deserve every opportunity for maximum recovery. This includes a
nurturing environment where distance, road delays and billing issues do not limit access to care. A place where they can receive
an array of centralized, appropriate therapies geared to meet their unique needs. A place where the wounded can heal among others
with whom they can relate. A place where families can come to rebuild relationships.
The Warrior Hope & Care Center™ is such a place, offering rehabilitation, adjustment and
compassion for Wounded Warriors in Eastern NC. It is designed to provide neurological, physical, occupational, aquatic,
cognitive health therapies under one roof. A variety of resources, services and agencies to benefit the wounded
and their families will give new levels of hope to our wounded heroes. They deserve no less. And you can make that happen.
Now it is time to show that you have heard their needs and recognize their heroism, to turn
our care into action, to make a commitment. Help us provide this unique rehabilitation and support facility for our Wounded
Warriors and their families, where they can begin their lives anew.
Hope for The Warriors will continue to fundraise for a memorial statue at the entrance as a sign and symbol of Hope.
The statue is being designed by John Phelps, a Hope For The Warriors™ Ambassador of Hope and father of LCpl Chance Phelps, killed in
Iraq. Your donation will make a difference in the lives of many. To make your contribution to the Warrior
Hope & Care Center™ memorial statue, please go to our Donate Today page.
